Of all the broken, empty old theatres in Queensland, Avalon may be the most frustrating.

Because there was no great fight, no big developer. We just lost interest, I guess. And now it sits there, empty, like a little white Mayan ruin. Useless, but impossible to ignore.

I’m too young to have ever played there; I’ve never even been inside. But I want it back.
